Glider, for Android. Last updated: 12 October 2026
Glider ("the game") is made by OÜ WorkingtheSeasons, registry code 17617928, Estonia ("we", "us"), under the name WorkingtheSeasons Games. For any privacy question, write to info@workingtheseasons.com.
The short version
The game has no accounts and we do not collect your name, email or anything you type. Your progress stays on your phone. The free game shows ads from Google, and Google's ad service collects some device data to show and measure them; you choose whether ads are personalised. Purchases are handled by Google Play; we never see your card.
What the game keeps on your phone
Your progress (scrap, upgrades, best distances, flights made, places reached), your settings (sound, vibration, text size and similar) and, if you buy it, the fact that you own "No ads". These files stay in the game's private storage. They are not sent to us, and Android's cloud backup is switched off for the game. Uninstalling the game or clearing its storage deletes them.
Advertising
The free game shows ads between flights, never during one, and offers optional ads you can watch for a reward. The ads come from Google AdMob. To show ads, limit how often you see them, measure them and prevent fraud, Google's ad software in the game collects:
- your device's advertising ID and an app-set ID;
- your IP address, which can show your approximate location (the game never asks for your location);
- how you interact with ads, for example when one is shown or tapped;
- diagnostics, such as app performance and crashes.
This data goes to Google, encrypted, and Google handles it under its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. How Google uses data from apps that show its ads: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Your choice. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the game asks before personalised ads are shown. You can change your answer at any time under Settings, Privacy options in the game. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings (Settings, Google, Ads on most phones). If you say no to personalised ads, you still see ads, but they are not based on your interests.
We ask Google to show only ads suitable for teenage players.
Purchases
If you buy "No ads" or another item, Google Play takes the payment. Google tells the game what you bought, with an order number and a purchase code, so the game can unlock it and restore it if you reinstall. We never receive your card or bank details. Google Play's terms and privacy policy apply to the payment.
Internet
The free game needs an internet connection to load ads, and it checks for a connection when an ad is due. Players who bought "No ads" can play offline. The check itself sends nothing about you to us.
Permissions
Vibration, for the shakes you feel in flight (you can turn it off in Settings); internet and network state, for ads and purchases; the advertising ID, for ads; and Google Play billing, for purchases. The game does not ask for your location, camera, microphone, contacts or files.
Google Play
Google Play handles the download, updates and your Google account. If you allow your phone to share usage and diagnostics with Google, Google may show us crash reports and stability statistics. They do not tell us who you are, and we use them only to fix problems.
If you write to us
We receive your email address and whatever you write, and use it only to answer you. We delete the conversation when it is no longer needed, unless a law requires us to keep it (for example accounting rules about a payment).
Test versions
Test versions shared with a small group of testers outside Google Play also keep a flight log on the phone (the glider's path and speed, stick movements, upgrades, scrap and the time of each flight). It never leaves the phone by itself; we only see it if a tester sends it to us, and we delete it within 30 days. The game on Google Play does not keep this log.
Children
The game is made for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at younger children.
Legal basis and your rights
Personalised ads rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time under Privacy options. Non-personalised ads, fraud prevention and answering your emails rely on our legitimate interest in running and supporting the game. Purchases are needed to give you what you bought.
We hold no personal data about you from the game itself. Data collected by Google's ad service is held by Google; you can manage it through your Google account and your phone's ad settings. If you have emailed us, you can ask us to see, correct or delete those emails. If you live in the European Union and think your data has been handled wrongly, you can complain to your local data protection authority; ours is the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, aki.ee).
Changes
If the game changes what it does with data, we update this page and the date at the top before that version of the game is released.
